Places in Turkey to Get Away from the Daily Rush
We all get overwhelmed by work and look for a different lifestyle from time to time. In those cases, we start looking for a tiny place in nature to recover and think clearly. Even though going on your own looks like a better idea, having a loved one who understands you is also a good option. We listed small and cozy places in Turkey to go when you feel the need to get away.
Fıçı Köy – Antalya
Fıçı Köy in Antalya is at the top our list. They opened in 2016 and aim to relieve stress caused by urbanization. They describe themselves as a camping facility focused on nature tourism. When we say camping, we don’t only mean staying in tents; but of course, that is an option if you like.
You can stay in interesting barrel-style cabins, houses, caravans, floating tents, or barrel-style tents.
They have many group activities for their visitors including rafting, zipline, camping, quad bike and buggy tours, jeep safari, Tazı canyon tour, Selge ancient city tour, and trekking. You will form new friendships and have new experiences in this camping area.
Kayserkaya Dağ Evleri – Şirince/İzmir
Kayserkaya Dağ Evleri is a perfect boutique hotel on the hills of Şirince for those who want to be left alone. Mountain huts on the hills will offer the most perfect view. The facility has 7 bungalows, 5 mountain huts and 3 cottages. They also have two hostel options with 3 standard rooms. The prices include breakfast and they also have an à la carte restaurant for other meals. All huts are barbeque- and pet-friendly. This way, you won’t have to leave your best friends behind. The facility also has a pool. We believe that you will fall in love with the perfect scape and sunset view.
Dağ Evim Sakarya – Sakarya
This is a perfect option for nature lovers. The facility is located at a 650 altitude in Kızılkaya district of Sakarya. Dağ Evim Sakarya offers a comfortable and an authentic “homey” environment, beautiful both in the winter and summer months. The huts are built with a treehouse-like concept on the hill with a great view. The duplex huts can accommodate up to 5 people at a time. We should mention that the facility accepts pets as a good option for pet owners.
Each hut includes a tea-urn, stove, hot water, washing machine, dish washer, barbeque area, a large refrigerator, and all kitchen utensils. Finally, all the huts have a large patio overlooking the view for you to fall in love with. We suggest taking a look before going.
Kelebekler ve Hayaller – Muğla
Our final getaway spot is in Göcek, Muğla. They offer ecological farmhouses and Tiny Houses in an olive farm away from the rush of the city. The facility promises a peaceful vacation in a meditative forest. Kelebekler ve Hayaller has 3 ecoological houses and 1 Tiny House. You can relax by the private or common pools and enjoy the view. Göcek is one of the must-see ancient cities in Turkey. So, here is the list of must-see spots in Göcek while you’re there:
