Ulusal Tarih Müzesi olarak hizmet veren ve turistlere kapılarını açan Chapultepec Kalesi, Meksika2nın başkenti Mexico City’de yer alır. Bu ünlü yapıt 1788 senesinde inşa edilmiş. Gotik mimari tarzının en iyi temsilcilerinden bir tanesi olan kalenin toplam yüksekliği 2325 metre. Yapı inşa edildikten sonra uzun süre Meksika İmparatoru I. Maximilian'ın ikametgâhı olarak kullanılmış. Ayrıca gözlem evi, kara harp okulu gibi amaçlarla da kullanıldığı bilinmektedir.
