- Odunpazarı, Eskişehir

Our first suggestion is from Eskişehir, Turkey's Venice. We don't know the city you live in, but Eskişehir is already getting ready to welcome autumn as the trees surrounding the Porsuk Stream slowly turn yellow. The first place we want you to see in Eskişehir, where a light breeze will always accompany your trip, is the historical houses of Odunpazarı district. It's easy to feel like you've traveled through time as you walk the streets of these colorful houses with bay windows from the Ottoman period. We are sure that you will visit the streets, where walking around in the summer heat turns into torture from time to time, with great pleasure and capture beautiful photo frames. Of course, when you come to the city, don't just stop there; Make sure to spare time for the Contemporary Glass Arts Museum, the Cartoon Museum, the Atlıhan Handicrafts Bazaar and the Odunpazarı Modern Museum. Of course, the parks cannot be missed. You can wander in Kentpark, one of the city's famous parks, look at the city's high view at Şelale Park, and visit the Pirate Ship and the Fairytale Castle in the Science, Art and Culture Park, or Sazova Park, among the greenery.

Speaking of which, as of 2022, you pay between 3000 - 3500 TL per person for a balloon tour you will participate in Cappadocia. Apart from the balloon tour in Cappadocia in autumn, you can also go for a nature or valley walk among the fairy chimneys and trees whose leaves have started to turn yellow.

- Safranbolu, Karabük

You may not think of Safranbolu among the places you should visit in autumn, but it is really a place worth seeing with its beauty in autumn. It is a different experience to see the place, which is normally covered with the green tones of the Black Sea, with the yellowing leaves of autumn. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994, it is one of the most important places in Turkey. Of course, the first place to visit here is Safranbolu houses. The houses that best reflect the typical Turkish culture here have a history of centuries. Because of these houses, it is even called "Ottoman's fingerprint". With the gentle breeze of autumn, walking around the Safranbolu houses and taking photos to immortalize the moment will give you great pleasure. Safranbolu City Museum should definitely be visited in order to better understand the history of the city. This place used to be the Government House, but as a result of a fire in 1976, it is now used as a city museum. Next to this museum is the Clock Tower, one of the symbols of the city. You can climb the tower if you want.

- Şirince, İzmir

In fact, we heard the name Şirince the most in 2012. Maybe we didn't even know there was such a place before this year. However, we learned that Şirince is the safest area, with the thought that the apocalypse will occur in 2012 according to the Mayan calendar. It is completely unfortunate that such an important and beautiful place has not been mentioned much before. Şirince, in the Selçuk district of İzmir, is a very valuable village with its historical Greek houses and churches. As you go up and down between the houses, a magnificent view welcomes you. Perhaps one of the most ideal seasons to visit in a place where you would normally see greenery is autumn. When you look from above, you will see Greek houses between yellow, red and orange. The season, which is neither too hot nor too cold in Şirince, will allow you to walk around more and enjoy the place more. Apart from wandering the streets and photographing the scenery of the village, you can visit St. John the Baptist Church and St. John the Baptist with its history dating back to 1805. You can visit the Church of Demetrius.

- Yedigöller, Bolu

We added Yedigöller National Park to this list because this natural wonder of Bolu is a must-visit place, especially in autumn. Consisting of a 1636-hectare basin, this place became a national park in 1965. There are 7 lakes in total in the basin, and its name comes from here. The names of the lakes are Büyükgöl, Küçükgöl, Deringöl, İncegöl, Nazlıgöl, Sazlıgöl and Seringöl. To see the full view of Yedigöller, you must climb Kapankaya Hill. Although it has a wonderful view in other seasons, it is simply breathtaking in autumn. You will have the opportunity to watch a wonderful view from Kapankaya Hill as the leaves on the trees take on different shades of yellow, orange, green and red and fall on the ground and 7 lakes. In fact, if you want to stay here longer than for a day, you can stay in bungalow houses belonging to the Ministry of Forestry. If you prefer to choose a more natural way to stay, you can also camp from tent and caravan areas. You can have a walk or picnic surrounded by leaves in Yedigöller National Park.
