NEVMEKAN
As we list our favorites, we realize we can’t separate books from coffee, so our next recommendation is also a book café: Nevmekan. Once an İETT garage and tram depot, Nevmekan is now a unique space featuring an art gallery, a stage, and a book café. Opened with the support of Üsküdar Municipality's Directorate of Culture, Nevmekan has become a popular spot, especially among students, thanks to its library-like decor. The venue also includes a design workshop and serves budget-friendly meals.
