The eagerly awaited Mesopotamia Express has completed its inaugural journey, allowing people to firsthand witness its unique features. 

This express train operates from Ankara to Diyarbakır, offering passengers convenient access to many points along this route. Before its first journey on April 19, much anticipation surrounded the introduction of this new express train, with many questions answered during its launch. Mesopotamia Express Features

The Mesopotamia Express boasts a highly modern design. With a capacity of 180 passengers and contemporary styling, the train stands out for its exceptional comfort. You can explore its carriages before departure and experience the comfort firsthand. Every detail has been considered to meet passengers' needs, including a restaurant carriage where you can enjoy delicious meals, drinks, and conversations. Additionally, there's a buffet onboard for snacks.

Unlike other trains, the Mesopotamia Express features showers in addition to WC facilities in each carriage, ensuring passengers' comfort during long journeys. Some carriages are designated as family compartments, allowing families to travel together comfortably. The train also caters to disabled passengers, with accessible areas in certain carriages.

The train consists of 9 sleeping carriages, each equipped with lavatories, mini-fridges, and storage cabinets tailored to passengers' needs. Lighting and heating are designed to enhance passenger comfort. As the Mesopotamia Express is a tourist train, it makes stops in Malatya and Kayseri for 3 hours each and 4 hours in Elazığ for sightseeing purposes. This allows passengers to explore historical and cultural sites, making their journey enjoyable. The Mesopotamia Express completes this delightful route in a total of 25 hours.

Mezopotamya Ekspresi Güzergahı ve Durakları

Mezopotamya Ekspresi seferi Ankara’dan başlıyor. Toplamda 1051 kilometrelik güzergahta ilerliyor. Tren, Sivas, Bingöl, Kayseri, Malatya, Erzincan, Elazığ, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep’e uğruyor ve Diyarbakır’da sonlanıyor. Her durakta mola verildiği için insanlar sadece seyahat etmekle kalmıyor tüm rota duraklarının tadını çıkarabiliyor. 

İç, Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu bölgelerinin güzelliklerini gözler önüne seren bu sefer daha şimdiden yerli yabancı turistlerin ilgisini çekmiş durumda. Daha önce hiç trene binmemiş olan pek çok kişi sırf bu ekspresin tadını çıkarmak için farklı şehirlerden Ankara’ya geliyor. İlk seferi gerçekleşen Mezopotamya Ekspresi ile katılımcılar durak noktalarındaki şehirlerin tarihini ve doğal yerlerini tanıma, yerel lezzetlerini deneme gibi deneyimlere sahip oldular.
