The Best Airport in the World: Istanbul Airport
In the survey conducted by Travel + Leisure, a New York-based magazine reaching over 16 million readers every month, Istanbul Airport outperformed all its competitors to secure the top spot on the list of "The World's Top 10 International Airports." Since its opening, Istanbul Airport has welcomed over 250 million passengers and earned the title of readers' favorite international airport in many respects.
Participants in the survey praised Istanbul Airport for its ease of navigation and friendly staff. Compared to a gigantic shopping mall due to its wide variety of restaurants and cuisine options, Istanbul Airport also received high marks from travelers for its easy navigation, modern design, and diverse range of services.
Other Favorites on the List
The survey of international airports, which garnered praise from passengers for their excellent designs and rich services, highlighted the prominence of airports in Asia and the Middle East. Following Istanbul Airport in the 2024 Best Airports list are Singapore Changi, Doha Hamad, and Dubai International Airports.
